       Solar Home Systems

The Scientific Technology, Solar Home System (SHS) is an excellent solution for household level electrification in rural as well as urban areas of the country. The Solar Home System consists of a solar module with ratings of 12/20/40/51/60 watts. Solar modules available are from Kyocera, Japan Solar Deep cycle batteries of different capacities that range from 40 AH to 128 AH are from VOLTA. One number of solar charge controller and four high efficient compact fluorescent lamps, along with complete set of installation materials and earth wires are also included in the system.
     
 
 

Photovoltaic Modules
Photovoltaic modules convert sunlight into electric energy. The direct current generated by the modules can be stored in a battery and is available at all times during day and night to power electrical appliances. Photovoltaic cells made of pure silicon crystals extracted from sand, are wired to form module to give the current and voltage needed to charge batteries that powers electrical loads either directly or through converters. PV modules generate electricity directly from sunlight and their operation is completely silent and pollution-free. Because they have no moving parts to wear out, they will provide reliable power for decades. Our panels are guaranteed not to lose more than 20% of their rated power output within 25 years. Solar-generated electricity can supply autonomous power in rural areas, or can be linked to the grid to reduce or eliminate your electric bill. We carry PV modules from Kyocera, one of the largest manufacturers of solar panels in the world.

Solar Deep Cycle tubular plate Batteries from VOLTA

Solar ''Deep Cycle" Batteries provides energy storage for the solar power system. Electricity that is generated by the solar panels during daytime is stored in the batteries, which can then be used at nighttime or during cloudy days. Although regular car batteries will work temporarily, they will fail quickly and must be replaced (usually within one year in cases which involves deep discharging). These Deep Cycle Batteries from VOLTA have tubular plates and are more solidly built to withstand many years service (10 years typically). 12-volt batteries have clear industrial containers for easy electrolyte viewing.

Solar Charge Controller
Solar Charge Controllers regulate the amount of electricity flowing into and out of the battery, preventing the battery from overcharging. A load controller also regulates the load, protecting the battery from over discharging. Our controllers provide both of these functions and have some of the most advanced features available including the latest Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology.

Solar Multiple Voltage Regulator
This is one of the components of Solar Home System. This Small Multiple Voltage Regulator (SMVR) is specially designed for converting 12 Volt DC from a solar battery into a lower voltage ranging from 3 VDC to 9 VDC and have maximum load current of up to 1(one) amperes. One of the major benefits of this component is that users no longer need to buy small batteries to power their equipment.
 
 

Solar Lights
Osram high efficiency CFL lamps provide the perfect lighting for solar systems. These special lights consume less energy than regular bulbs, while providing clean and bright light. The solar CFL lamps can be mounted on the wall or the ceiling as and where required Scientific Technology also supplies equally efficient 6-watts solar fluorescent tube lamps.
 
 

Solar Power Converters
Scientific Technology also manufactures, supplies and installs low cost Solar Power Converter, having capacities that ranges from 100 watts to 1000 watts .It has an objective of enhancing the capacity of its power converters up to3000 watts within 2-years.
 
 

Solar Water Pumps
